Making the Cold Commute More Bearable

I live in the city and I don’t have access to a car, which suits me fine because everywhere I need to go is fairly close to my apartment. My office is about 10 blocks away, and it’s a nice walk when it’s warm out. However, when it’s cold, that 25 minute commute is brutal. There isn’t a bus stop near my house and cabs can be expensive so I have no choice but to walk. The other day, the temperature got down to about 10 degrees, and I almost froze to death on my way to work. When someone whizzed by me on an electric bike scooter, I suddenly had a brilliant idea. I could probably get to work in a matter of minutes on an electric scooter and it would make my commute much more bearable in the winter months. A grown woman in a suit and heels riding on a electric scooter might look strange but if it keeps me warm, I don’t care what people think!

Finding My Indian Motorcycle Parts

I’m rebuilding a 1956 Indian motorcycle by myself for the first time and I’m having some issues finding the parts I need to get it fully restored. Right now I’m at about 90 percent and I’ve found what I thought were all the hard parts. But now I can’t find things like brake signal covers and gas cap. I ‘ve checked out all the Motorcycle accessories alabama, locally. But I haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for. Maybe I need to take my search on the internet and see what I can come up with. The issue there is I’m afraid of damaging it during shipping. Maybe I need to call on those guys on TV who travel the country side looking for rusty gold! Who knows, I just need my parts to make my bike totally complete. It’s an awesome bike too. It’s fire engine red and chrome, sweet!
